It was a pleasure to dine at this true farm to table restaurant that offers lunch specials, tea time sandwiches and desserts. Thanks to the English-speaking staff, we were able to order two of the cafe's daily lunch special sets of veggie hot-pot to be made vegan and without gluten. The chefs were kind in prepping our special requests even though it was past the lunch hour. The dishes were beautifully presented and amazingly delicious. The chefs' sensibility to lightly season the broth and dipping sauce (specially made without soy sauce which had gluten) allowed the natural sweetness of the veggies to be tasted. All of the soy products from soy milk, tofu, soy mayonnaise and soy soft serve ice cream were handmade. Plus all of the produce they used was grown and harvested from their Nagano farm, boasting 300 crops. We were pleasantly surprised by the calibre of service, food, presentation and ambiance of this unassuming cafe. The veggie hot pots we had were the best vegan meals we've eaten in Japan.

Best in Fujinomiya for the Veggies!! The foods are very good, providing various flavors. The raw materials are from local communities where are poor and the restaurant tries to improve their quality of lives.

I was tired of trying to find a place to eat that did not have either pork or fish as an ingredient in their food So, I went the vegetarian route and found this place! I had the Mazina Sandwich which was nothing short of amazing (probably because the amount of melted cheese they put in it) And on the side there were two tempura potatoe wedges that complemented the sandwich well...though it would have been perfect with four wedges I regrettably had to eat quick so I appreciated that the staff was able to accommodate my tight time schedule as well

Best restaurant of my life, tons of vegan options, and allows you to discover fully japanese culinary culture. Would go a 1000 times again, they grow everything themselves organically, they are super sweet and there is even a shop you can try in the restaurant and buy your own bento ! Here some pictures :

Great vegetarian food in town. Came for lunch and the food is great and very healthy with the right proportion for one big person. Delicious ice cream and crème brûlée.
